

CAROLINE MAHER-BOULIS
Dr. Maher-Boulis, Associate Professor of Mathematics and coordinator of the Mathematics Internship Program at Lee, holds a Ph.D. from Florida State University and has earned excellent teaching evaluations at the university. Her diverse background extends to experience working in both academia and the corporate world. She spearheaded the addition of an Actuarial Science Emphasis to the mathematics degree options at Lee, has partnered with Bradley/Cleveland Chamber of Commerce to bring practical problems into her math classes, received funding from THEC for the BLT Math and CATCH Math Projects developed in the past two years and has conducted summer math camps for school students.

Bryan D. Poole
Dr. Poole, Assistant Professor of Psychology, holds a Ph.D. from the University of Alabama and specializes in Experimental Psychology, publishing his research in high-impact journals such as Psychological Science and the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology. While teaching a variety of classes on research methods and statistics, Dr. Poole also conducts research with teams of undergraduate students, investigating topics such as emotion, motivation, and attention; assists students in receiving grant funds from Psi Chi, the national honors society in psychology, and the Appalachian College Association; and, alongside his students, regularly presents research at the Southeastern Conference on the Teaching of Psychology and the annual meeting of the Southeastern Psychological Association.

JASON ROBINSON
Dr. Jason Robinson, Assistant Professor of Education, taught in public schools for 15 years. He is a past recipient of the National Science Teachers Association “Vision of Science” Award, Tennessee Science Teacher of the Year, and the State Farm Good Neighbor Award for Teachers. Known for conducting engaging events, such as Family Science Night and Rocket City Science summer camps, Robinson has been featured in National Geographic, Parenting, Family Fun and Congressional Quarterly. He is a certified Tennessee TEAM evaluator and has served on various committees of the Tennessee State Department of Education.
